‘…Yet I will wed with the White Lady of Rohan, if it be her will. And if she will, then let us cross the River and in happier days let us dwell in fair Ithilien and there make a garden. All things will grow with joy there, if the White Lady comes.’

‘Then must I leave my own people, man of Gondor?’ she said. ‘And would you have you proud folk say to you: “There goes a lord who tamed a wild shieldmaiden of the North! Was there no woman of the race of Numenor to choose?” ‘

‘I would,’ said Faramir. And he took her in his arms and kissed her under the sunlit sky, and he cared not that they stood high upon the walls in the sight of many. And many indeed saw them and the light that shone about them as they came down from the walls and went hand in hand to the Houses of Healing.

And to the Warden of the Houses Faramir said: ‘Here is the Lady Eowyn of Rohan, and now she is healed.’

I’ve been thinking to eliminate my deviant account just for the main reason  that I utterly hate my deviant name and create a new one with a name that I can tolerate (cause I suck at account names) … the thing is that I don’t want to miss the people I follow and that stuff so… comments?

I went on Google to look up more about this Yahoo buying Tumblr nonsense, and one of the comments on the article said this.

I love how the homestucks are separated into their own category

Women in Ancient Egypt

It is quite fascinating to notice that, by historic evidence, ancient Egyptian women received equal rights economically and legally. They could own property, they could sign contracts, they were considered legitimate witnesses in court. They could sell property, divorce, and could be considered a partner in contracts. Women were also “entitled to sue at law” as well.

Most women were working women. They helped along with agricultural work and would manage farms and businesses in the absence of their husbands. Some women were the heads of their own businesses; others became doctors. Women could also work as musicians, and noblewomen could be apart of a priesthood.

Contraceptives were allowed. When a woman was giving birth, her head would be shaved. There would be many midwives to assist her as well. The discovery of finding out weather or not the child was a boy or a girl originated from Ancient Egypt and eventually spread.
